Every summer it feels like a fresh start.
The fixtures may have finished, but for those involved the work never stops. Plans are being made, players are preparing, new faces are arriving and, behind the scenes, there are countless stories waiting to be told.
That’s why the Summer Series has become one of my favourite parts of the Sutton Podcast calendar and this year I think I have my strongest line-up so far!
Rather than focusing on ninety minutes every Saturday, these episodes are about the people who make Sutton United what it is. The conversations are longer, more relaxed and often go places you simply don’t get to hear elsewhere.
Tomorrow, our 2026 Summer Series gets underway.
I’m delighted to be kicking things off with Sutton United CEO Phil “Tatts” Tattersall. We’ll be talking about his history, the club’s direction, the close season, preparations for the new campaign and plenty more besides. It’s a fascinating conversation and I can’t wait for you to hear it.

Lucy Clark - Women’s First Team Manager, looking back on another positive season and ahead to the next historic chapter for the women’s side.
Vicky Garner - Retail Manager, taking us behind the scenes of one of the busiest areas of the football club.

When I started this podcast, I wanted to give Sutton supporters a chance to hear what happens in different areas of the club. With some incredible access and more than 300 episodes later, that hasn’t changed.
The Summer Series is a chance to slow things down. To ask the questions that don’t fit into a post-match interview. To discover what drives the people behind the badge. To celebrate the community that makes Sutton United so special.
